I had noticed it seemed to stop on a file within the same folder (not the same file).
If I tried to rerun a scan immediately after I stopped one, it would freeze on the same file however, if I waited until hours later to rerun, it did not freeze on the same file.

Any scan - Quick, Full and the scan that can be run before the system boots. I uninstalled using the Windows control panel.ġ. I have had Avast! on my machine for over a year and have had no problems until recently. I currently have Avast! - the free version and Malwarebytes (the free version) How did you uninstall Avast (use the Avast Uninstaller tool ) or some other way?Ģ.
